Contest Rules for WFXR FOX 21/27- GRAND HOME FURNISHINGS AMERICAN IDOL FINALE TRIP ÐCONTEST 2008

Must be 21 years or older to win/qualify. No purchase necessary. Contest runs from 1-15-08 to 4-30-08. One winner/qualifier per household. Void where prohibited. Chances of winning the prize depends upon the number of correct entries received at the Grand Home Furnishings locations within Roanoke, Virginia. Grand Prize winner to be announced/determined on May 1, 2008. Contest is open to residents that live within the WFXR Fox 21/27 Viewing Area as based upon Nielsen Media Research. Void where prohibited by law.

To enter the promotion at Grand Home Furnishings: Fill out the official 2008 WIN A TRIP TO AMERICAN IDOL FINALE entry form available at Grand Home Furnishings in Roanoke, Virginia (Valley View Mall location and the Tanglewood location). ONE entry per household. All entries must be hand-printed and no mechanically reproduced entries will be permitted. Illegible and/or incomplete forms are ineligible. Entry forms are void if forged, altered or obtained other than as set out in the rules.

Employees of WFXR (FOX 21/27), Grand Home Furnishings or their families, are not eligible to enter. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.

Released from indemnity: FOX Broadcasting Company, News America, Inc., FOX Interactive Media, FremantleMedia North America, Inc., American Idol Productions, Inc., 19 TV Ltd., 19 Merchandising Ltd., CKX, Inc., their parent, subsidiary, affiliated and related entities, and the officers, directors, employees, licensees and assignees of each.

Odds of winning depends upon the number of people qualified. Only one qualifier per family or household. Qualifiers will be required to present a valid driver's license or other form of identification at check-in to verify their claim of the prize. All entries must be received by April 30, 2008 at Grand Home Furnishings locations in Roanoke (Tanglewood Mall and Valley View Mall locations).

Winner will be required to execute an Indemnification and Waiver of Liability, whereby participating entrants agree that the participants and Grant Communications it's subsidiaries, their affiliates, officers, directors, agents and their employees are not liable for any injury or damage of any kind resulting from the entry of the contest. Entrants agree to give permission to use entrant/s name and/or likeness for the purpose of advertising and trade without compensation. Qualifier and Winner must meet eligibility requirements as required by Grant Communications, it's subsidiaries, their affiliates, officers, directors, agents, and their employees shall not be responsible for lost, misdirected, illegible or late entries. By entering, contestants accept these rules and agree to be bound by the results of the contest. All decisions made by Grant Communications and Grand Home Furnishings. Rules may be changed or modified as conditions warrant.

In the event production of American Idol is cancelled or postponed, the ticket portion of the prizing may be cancelled without substitution or compensation therefor.' and (ii) 'If a ticket prize is awarded, the winner's guest to the American Idol show must be at least 8 years old.

Employees of Grant Communications and their immediate families are not allowed to participate. Advertising agencies in affiliation with Grant Communications and their employees and immediate families are not allowed to participate. All entries must be from WFXR/WWCW Fox 21/27 viewing area.

WFXR/WWCW Fox 21/27 and Grant Communications holds the right to deny any and all entries if not adherent to the rules or would pose a danger to themselves or other employees of WFXR/WCW Fox 21/27 or Grant Communications.

Prize Redemption/Claim/Releases:. Prizes may be claimed within thirty (30) days from the date of winning. Unclaimed prizes will be forfeited. Winners must complete a signed affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release. To meet Federal Tax Regulations, all winners must present their social security number and are responsible for all taxes associated with prizes. Prizes are considered income and taxes on said prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner. The winner, by acceptance of a prize, agrees to release WFXR/WWCW Fox 21/27 and Grant Communications, it's ownership, sponsors, advertising and promotion agencies, their immediate families, successors and assigns from any and all liability for claims, actions or proceedings for injuries or damages sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership or use of the prize or while traveling to, preparing for or participating in any prize-related activity.

All decisions are final. WFXR/WWCW Fox 21/27 holds the right to change any aspect of contest at any time without prior notice.

All American Idol execution rules and regulations regarding prizing must include the following disclaimer: (i) 'In the event production of American Idol is cancelled or postponed, the ticket portion of the prizing may be cancelled without substitution or compensation therefor.' and (ii) 'If a ticket prize is awarded, the winner's guest to the American Idol show must be at least 6 years old.'

GRAND PRIZE/DECLARATION:
All winners would depart from Roanoke Regional Airport and would be responsible for their transportation to and from Roanoke. In Los Angeles hotel accommodations provided for each couple for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night, the week of the American Idol finale show. Group transportation from and return to LAX airport will be provided as well as transportation to and from the Wednesday finale show. A dinner for all winners will be hosted one night by Grand Home Furnishings. The winner will receive $500 spending money.

Prize Value Declaration:
$5,000
