The rain may not always be welcome, but right now I need it to grow my orange mums ... so it can stick around as long as it wants.

We just painted the exterior of our house, changed the colors of the shutters and then painted my fall plants (the orange mums) in the flower boxes. I can't begin to tell you how much I love my orange flowers!

I have a bad habit of buying and planting flowers at the size I want them to be ... which means they grow and overcrowd my gardens or flower boxes almost instantly. So, this time I bought them smaller and planted them so they had room to grow.

Now, of course, they can't grow fast enough. So, I'll be happy if this rain could stick around for a little bit longer and help a flower box out.
