Last night was a rough newscast.

Our lead story ... a $20 million lawsuit filed by a father accusing a bus driver and an aide of assaulting his autistic son on the school bus. Bus surveillance video shows some upsetting footage. It was hard to watch.

We had a story on a Covington man who now faces capital murder for the death of his 25 DAY old son last month.

In Missouri, a young couple pled for the safe return of their 10 month old daughter, who disappeared from her crib in the middle of the night.

We don't normally have so many upsetting stories in one newscast, but last night, well again, it was a rough one.

When I got home, I was exhausted, and ready to crash. Just then, my 2 year old woke up crying in his crib. It took awhile to calm him down and more than an hour before I could get him back to sleep. I have to admit as wiped out as I was, it felt good just to sit there and hold him.
