Still trying to decide whether or not to bring my 2 year old on a cruise with us. I need to figure this out sooner than later.
If it was a cruise only my husband I were taking, I'd leave my little guy behind so we can actually relax and not chase a 2 year old non-stop. It would be nice, for example, to sit poolside and not move for at least a half hour. With Henry in tow, there will be little rest.
As for the reason I am thinking about bringing him, (at this particular moment I'm leaning toward this option) this is a family trip. My cousin decided to do a destination wedding. Everyone on my mom's side of the family will be there. If Henry doesn't go - he will be the only one missing from the pictures and then I start to feel guilty.
He's 2. Does he care? No. I realize this. But then I think down the line whenever we're looking at pictures, there will be these great family photos and no Henry. I can just hear him asking, uh - where am I? Well, you see, mom and dad dumped you with a sitter. Sorry kid. :)
I'll eventually figure this quandary out. And again - sooner than later - I have to get on buying those plane tickets!
