
ROANOKE, VA --
Advance Auto Parts announced a new $8 million dollar project that will create 75 new jobs in Roanoke over the next 3 years this morning (Thursday).
The project will add a Financial Services Commercial Customer Care Center to Advance's Roanoke headquarters. These jobs will help "manage the entire commercial customer credit experience," according to a joint press release from Advance, Gov. McDonnell's office, and the Va. Economic Development Partnership. The expansion will handle data setup, and several accounting functions.
Its operation and corporate headquarters in the City of Roanoke and will invest $8 million to support this expansion, as well as other growth. Financial Services will manage the entire commercial customer credit experience, including commercial customer master data setup, billing, accounts receivable and collections. The project will create 75 new jobs over the next three years.
