Becky says: The FOX 21/27 Morning show debuts soon! - FOX 21/27 WFXR Roanoke/WWCW Lynchburg News, Weather

It was promo shoot after promo shoot today ... Why? Because we will soon debut our new morning show here on FOX 21/27 and we are going to promote the heck out of it!

Our new FOX 21/27 morning news anchor is Bob Grebe. He's been reporting in Roanoke for the past 5 1/2 years and is bringing his knowledge of Southwest Virginia to FOX 21/27!

We had a lot of fun ... and I won't give away too much but let's just say there was a sun costume and a rooster on the set today! No doubt, Bob is a good sport.

We were joking about all the chaos going on around us and he mentioned it brought him back to 1984 when the Phil Collins and Philip Bailey music video came out for the song Easy Lover. I have the memory of an ant ... so I didn't remember the video.  Oh, or should I say I'm too young to have seen that video? ;)

After watching it, he's right, today had a little 1984 Easy Lover music video feel to it! Too bad we don't have the kind of money Phil Collins rakes in, but at least we had fun.

The new morning show begins right here on Your FOX 21/27 March 12th. It will air weekday mornings from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Tune in! I might even set my alarm and do the same! :)
