High winds are not helping wildfires throughout our area. It's going to be a long night here in Southwest Virginia for a lot of people.

Keep in mind, if you drive I-64 anywhere near exits 29 through 50, you will need to find another route for awhile. The fire has jumped the interstate and it is now closed between those exits until at least 10 o'clock Wednesday morning.

We are keeping a close eye on all the fires burning throughout our area and will have the latest on the Fox 21/27 Morning Show.
