I truly hope our air conditioner can hold up against this heat.  Not only are the temperatures hot and climbing higher each day, but this heat wave will last for DAYS.

In past summers, the a/c ran so much it actually started to freeze up.  Ice ... literally, ice forming.

As much as I dislike the feeling of living in a cave, I think I'll have to deal with it and close the blinds and keep the doors shut.  I love keeping our front door open (storm door still closed) and having the sun shine through the windows.  I think for the next several days, though, we'll close things up to take some stress of the a/c unit.

Here's to getting through the heat ... please take care of yourselves in the coming days.
