Boil Water Notice for Vinton - FOX 21/27 WFXR Roanoke/WWCW Lynchburg News, Weather

The Town of Vinton has issued a boil water notice for part of the town, due to power outages at pump stations.

According to Town Manager Christopher Lawrence, these areas are impacted:

• Wolf Creek
• Victoria Meadows
• Chesnut Mountain
• Falling Creek subdivision (Todd's Berry Drive, Falling Creek Drive, Landfill Drive, Twin Mountain Drive, Twin Mountain Circle, Burnt Quarter Drive, Denbeigh Circle, Horse Pen Drive)

All water for drinking should be boiled first.

Any ice should be thrown out.

Any water filters should be changed.

Anyone needing water should bring a container to the Vinton War Memorial between 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Sunday and Monday.
