So hi.

Sorry I haven't written in so long. No excuses.

Can I just tell you how much I love the fall season?! Why haven't I written? Football games, soccer, time off to visit with my mom etc ...

And today - is my 7th wedding anniversary!

We are so romantic, I think we are going to pick up our little guy from daycare and head out for burgers, or maybe tacos if we really feel crazy.

I have to admit, I'm pretty happy we remembered. I am pretty sure most of the day went by last year before either one of us remembered it was the 16th. In fact, I think it was my mom who called to say happy anniversary that jumped started our brains. My husband even has a cheat sheet in his ring - I had the date engraved in it. Which reminds me of my favorite engraving of all time. A former co-worker of mine showed me the inside of his ring one day while we were driving out to a story and I cracked up laughing ... it was quite simple - "put me back on." Love it - good humor keeps the world going 'round.

Happy Oct. 16th ... get outside and enjoy this weather! It's almost as perfect as it was in 2005.
