Lynchburg Man Shot Multiple Times, Police Investigating - FOX 21/27 WFXR Roanoke/WWCW Lynchburg News, Weather

Lynchburg Police are searching for whoever shot a man multiple times Monday night.

Officers say they found the 26-year-old male victim near where Boston Avenue and Faquier Street intersect. EMTs took the man to Lynchburg General Hospital, and police said he was in surgery as of 11 p.m.

Witnesses told police that a silver sedan, possibly a Lexus, was seen driving away from the scene of the shooting toward Rivermont Avenue. Investigators believe the victim was shot by someone in the car.
