The text says you won a $1,000 gift card at Best Buy, or that you're a "first place" winner.
It then directs you to a web site to "collect" your award.
The Better Business Bureau says it's nothing more than a lure to steal your identity.
The Better Business Bureau says there are similar scams with Target and Wal-Mart's names attached.
