Hokie Heroes Christmas Project

Posted: Updated:

From the Virginia Tech Alumni Association-Roanoke Valley Chapter:

Care Packages will be sent to the VT Corp of Cadets Alumni military service men and women, and those in their command serving overseas during the Christmas Holidays.

Roanoke, VA :

The first shipment of boxes is being sent on Monday, December 10, 2012 to our "Hokie Heroes" but the collection bins will remain at our five host locations to continue collecting items for the care packages through Christmas (December 25, 2012), when a second shipment of Care packages will be sent to them.

We at RVVTAA are very proud to be working with the Corp of Cadets to send these men and women a little bit of "Christmas in a box" from Roanoke, and let them know how much we appreciate their service to our country.

For a complete list of items that can be sent in the care packages, please visit our website, or get a flyer at one of our collection locations.

The Hokie Heroes Christmas Project is in full swing, as the Roanoke Valley Virginia Tech Alumni Association, has placed five collection bins around Roanoke to collect items for the Christmas Care packages to be sent to the troops.
