Pulaski County emergency management lifted the mandatory evacuation order for multiple communities Friday morning.
Flood waters have receded to safe levels, according to Assistant County Administrator Robert Hiss.
Also, the county closed the Red Cross shelter set up at Pulaski County High School. No families used the shelter overnight.
Drivers are asked to use caution, as the cold temperatures and snow overnight caused slick spots on roads.
Pulaski County damage assessment teams will be going to damaged communities today. Citizens can call (540) 994-2602 to report any damage they have.
Fox 21/27's Erin Barnett is in Pulaski County today, and will have an update on the flood damage and recovery effort.
