RADFORD, VA -
Radford City Police say officers have made arrests in a Tuesday night home invasion robbery.
Investigators believe 20-year-old Johnie Hood, of Belspring, 21-year-old De'Lonnie Leggett, of Radford, and 23-year-old Justin Little, of Radford, went into an unlocked unit at Copper Beach Apartments on Tuesday, March 5th, around 8:30 p.m.
The victims told officers the trio wore bandanas on their faces, and demanded jewelry as well as other items. Police believe Leggett and Little were armed with handguns, and one of them pistol whipped one of the victims in the back of his head.
Officers arrested Hood and Leggett on Wednesday.
Hood faces charges of:
- Conspire to break and enter in the nighttime
- Conspire to commit grand larceny
Leggett faces charges of:
- Breaking and entering in the nighttime to commit robbery
- Robbery
- Use of a firearm in the commission of a robbery
Both men are being held at the New River Valley Regional Jail.
Little is still missing, and police consider him armed and dangerous. He faces the same charges as Leggett.
