Funeral services set for Virginia State Trooper killed - FOX 21/27 WFXR Roanoke/WWCW Lynchburg News, Weather

Funeral arrangements have been made for Master Trooper J.A. Walker - the Virginia State Police trooper shot and killed Thursday.

A wake will be held Monday, March 11th - from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Good Shepherd Baptist church in Petersburg. Then a funeral service will be held for Walker Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the same church. His burial will be private.

The 63-year-old Master Trooper was shot and killed on Interstate 85 in Dinwiddie County. Police have arrested 28-year-old Russell Brown for the shooting. He is charged with capitol murder and attempted capitol murder of a police officer.
