Search for missing woman in Bath Co. - FOX 21/27 WFXR Roanoke/WWCW Lynchburg News, Weather

Virginia State Police say search teams ended their work for the day around 7:00 p.m.

They will restart in the daylight hours on Tuesday.

Deputies in Bath County say the 62-year-old Culpeper woman went missing Monday morning.

The search is focused on the Mountain Grove area, according to Sheriff's officials. We are told her silver BMW was found abandoned Monday morning.

Police say the woman is about 5'3" tall, and weighs about 115 lbs. She was last seen wearing a green shirt and black pants.

Virginia State Police and additional volunteer agencies are assisting in the search.
