Ferrum College kicks off $25 million Centennial campaign - FOX 21/27 WFXR Roanoke/WWCW Lynchburg News, Weather

In celebration of their 100th anniversary - Ferrum College announces their new $25 million dollar Centennial Campaign.

The focus will be on increasing the number of endowed scholarships and professorships, and increasing opportunities for academics. The campaign will also focus on programs such as the college environmental science.

Ferrum College President Jennifer Braaten said "for people to assist us the way they have in the past and make Ferrum's students successful that is the reality and we are excited because it is students from the region students from Virginia and students that are going to make a difference and have jobs in the area."

Since Braaten took office - Ferrum College has increased enrollment and expanded classroom and residence halls.
