Local 'Moonshiners' star arrested - FOX 21/27 WFXR Roanoke/WWCW Lynchburg News, Weather

Last Thursday, Steven Tickle, one of the stars of the Discovery Channel show Moonshiners, was arrested for being drunk in public in Danville.

Danville Police say a citizen reported a man drinking in public at a convenience store parking lot. An officer found Tickle, age 35, sitting in a vehicle at Charley's Stop and Shop on Franklin Turnpike. The officer approached him and detected a "strong odor of alcohol as well as normal indications of being intoxicated." Police say Tickle was arrested after being unable to make arrangements to have someone drive him home. He was taken to jail and released later the same day.
