Amherst Early Morning Restaurant Shooting - FOX 21/27 WFXR Roanoke/WWCW Lynchburg News, Weather

The Amherst County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that happened early Friday morning at the Pizza Wings and Things Restaurant, located on South Amherst Highway.

At around 1:30 am, a man was shot in the leg inside the restaurant. He was treated and taken to the Emergency Department at Lynchburg General Hospital.

Police are still investigating.  Anyone with information is being asked to call police.
