Another Business in Trouble in Roanoke's Grandin Village - FOX 21/27 WFXR Roanoke/WWCW Lynchburg News, Weather

A Roanoke City spokesperson confirmed the city's code enforcement division received a complaint about Harvey's Cleaning Service, at 1902 Memorial Ave. SW in Grandin Village.

The complaint stated the business had no heat, so the tenant decided to vacate the building, the spokesperson said.

The cleaning service closing makes four units that now appear to be unoccupied in Grandin Village.

A Japanese restaurant that recently opened in the old Norberto's space has closed.

The Surf and Turf restaurant has also been closed since Christmas.

Susan Stump, president of the Grandin Village Business Association, said another restaurant will open in the old Surf and Turf space in May.

She said there is strong interest in the former Japanese restaurant space as well.
