Tape of Franklin Co. Woman Arranging Alleged Murder-For-Hire - FOX 21/27 WFXR Roanoke/WWCW Lynchburg News, Weather

Today Virginia State Police revealed they have Angela Nolen on video and audio tape arranging an alleged hit on her ex-husband.

Investigators say the man Nolen thought was a hitman was actually an undercover state police officer.

Nolen, and her friend Cathy Bennett, are charged in what police say was a murder-for-hire plot with Nolen's ex-husband being the target.

Court records show both women plan to waive their preliminary hearings tomorrow afternoon in Franklin County General District Court.

The hearing is set for 1:30 p.m.

If both women waive the hearing, it will send the case on to the next meeting of the Franklin County grand jury.
