Franklin County Women Charged in Murder-For-Hire Plot Waive Hearing

The teacher and school nurse in the Franklin County murder-for-hire case waived their right to a preliminary hearing on Thursday, March 21.

This decision will now send the case to grand jury.

Angela Nolen is charged with trying to hire a hit-man to kill her ex-husband. Police say Cathy Bennett helped her try to find a hit-man.

Bennett's attorney told us she is, "absolutely comfortable with today's decision."
