Suspects sought in bizarre Walmart fraud investigation in Rocky Mount

Rocky Mount Police are searching for two men they say tried obtain money under false pretenses at the Walmart in Rocky Mount.

Investigators say the two men filled a television box with a block of wood, then tried to return it as if it were a television. Police say Walmart checked the box and realized there was no television inside, and did not allow the return.

Police have no leads in the case, but did catch the two men on surveillance. Anyone with information is asked to call Rocky Mount Police.
