Daleville Town Center announces new restaurant

BOTETOURT COUNTY -

For the last five years the Daleville Town Center has been looking for that perfect business that could help attract more visitors to the area.

On Wednesday many believe they found that business.

The owners of Sharkey's, the popular bar/restaurant in Blacksburg and Radford, will be opening up a new restaurant in the Daleville Town Center called the Town Center Tap House.

It is expected to serve as the anchor for the town center, which has seen little growth since opening in 2008.

As for the restaurant Rogol said the menu will be similar.

But she added that the Town Center Tap House will have its own identity, including seating for 140, local wine, and around 40 beer taps.

"We started looking at it as a Sharkey's. But the more I looked at it I said I don't want to do a Sharkey's. I want to do something new," she said. "I want to upgrade the restaurant a little bit, it's not a college town. It really has a different feel and we decided to do a tap house."

The Town Center Tap House is expected to open its doors in July.
