Franklin County fire and shooting leads to arrest

Boones Mill, Va -

Franklin County Sheriff's Deputies and the fire department, are investigating a fire and shooting in the Boones Mill area from Friday night.

According to Lieutenant Todd Maxey the sheriff's office received a call about shots fired in a neighborhood.

When deputies arrived the suspect's mobile home was on fire, and the suspect was found nearby.

Officers arrested Howard Crowe Junior of Boones Mill. Charges are pending.
