Court records show federal investigators have linked a Washington D.C. area doctor, under federal indictment for prescribing Oxycontin to patients without a legitimate medical purpose, to a "major" Bedford area drug dealer named Ronnie Cupp.
Court papers show Cupp is also facing a federal charge of dealing drugs.
Court documents claim Cupp, and a few others, trafficked in more than 1,800 pills per month from D.C. doctor, Alen Salerian, and other methods in Florida.
Investigators also accused Cupp of threatening potential witnesses to the point that it rendered local investigations "useless."
Cupp finally started cooperating with police after a suicide attempt in February, court records show.
No trial date has been set.
