Roanoke Police answered an early morning disturbance call and ended up making a meth bust.
It happened at a home in the 2700 block of Chatham Street just after 2 Wednesday morning. Police say two people living in the home were involved in an argument. Of of them, 52-year-old Jerry Ernest Stanley, left before officers arrived, said Police Spokeswoman Aisha Johnson.
During the investigation, officers say they were given information about methamphetamine being made inside and searched the home after getting consent from both residents, Johnson said. Virginia State police came to help with the clean up the materials.
Stanley is now facing several charges: precursors to methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, and manufacturing methamphetamine.
