The head of the Air Force's sexual assault and response unit, Lt. Col. Jeff Krusinski is due in court for an arraignment in the day ahead. He's charged with misdemeanor sexual battery for allegedly groping a woman early Sunday morning near Crystal City.

Prince Harry will arrive in Washington this afternoon to kick off his seven-day tour of the U.S.. He'll first stop by a landmine clearance exhibit on Capitol Hill -- a cause dear to his late mother.

The Danville Transit System will get input about proposed fare increases for mass transit at the first of two public meetings this morning at 11:30 at the Ballou Park Senior Citizens Center. The proposed changes would go into effect August 1st.

Virginia Department of Rail & Public Transportation Director Thelma Drake will be in Roanoke today. She'll speak to the Chamber of Commerce about the expansion of passenger rail service to the star city. The meeting is from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Tanglewood. Tickets are $17 for members, $27 for non-members.

CHIP of Roanoke Valley will have a luncheon to pay tribute to mothers today at noon in the Patrick Henry Ballroom.

Golfers will tee off for Roanoke's Ronald McDonald House this morning. The annual benefit golf tournament has tee times set for 8:00 a.m. & 1:30 p.m. this afternoon at Ballyhack golf course.

Carilion Adolescent Health will have a Villages at Lincoln Teen Career Fair this afternoon from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Villages at Lincoln. The fair is for kids in grades 6 through 12.

Goodwill Industries of the Valleys will host its annual awards ceremony tonight beginning at 5:30 to honor participants and volunteers. It's taking place at the Vinton War Memorial.

Lieutenant Governor Bill Bolling will speak at Lynchburg Regional Chamber's Small Business Awards Reception tonight at 6:15 at the Craddock Terry Hotel & Event Center.

The Grandin Court Neighborhood Association's neighborhood plant exchange and give-a-way is tonight from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at the Grandin Court Recreation Center. Take any perennials from your garden, seeds, or extra plant packs to share.
