Accused New River Community College shooter Neil MacInnnis was back in court Tuesday.
Christiansburg police arrested MacInnis back on April 12, after investigators say he walked into the New River Community College's satellite location inside the New River Valley Mall and shot two women.
The 18-year-old was quickly taken into custody and charged with two counts of malicious wounding and two counts of use of a firearm in a felony.
MacInnis waived his preliminary hearing.
The case now moves forward to Montgomery County Circuit Court.
A trial date will be set in October.
