Transportation Money Approved for the Commonwealth

Posted: Updated:

Governor Bob McDonnell announced that Virginia will receive nearly $155 million in state-matching funds.

This will advance the nearly $560 million in transportation projects.

The money will go toward improving roads, bridges, sidewalks, trails, and traffic lights.

Greenview Drive in Lynchburg will widen from two to four lanes while bridges and roads in Roanoke will also be revamped.
