Bark in the Park for the SPCA

Posted: Updated:

Next week you and your dog can watch the Martinsville Mustangs face off against the Forest City Owls, all while supporting the local SPCA's no-kill campaign.

The Bark in the Park event is at Hooker Field, Tuesday. July 2.

If you don't have a pet to watch the game with, you're in luck, because the SPCA will be lending dogs out for the evening.

"We are going to have dogs up there for adoption any so you can take them out and spend some time with them while you're at the game," said volunteer director Chase Inman. "Love on them, give them a kind of a field trip day."

Tickets to the event are $6.

If you buy your ticket from the SPCA, they get 100% percent of the proceeds.
