Forest, VA -

Virginia Tech quarterback Logan Thomas, former Hokie Jake Grove and Brandon Sparrow with Marshall all came out to sign autographs at a benefit Saturday.

It was part of "Go Hard or Go Home" helping raise money for a woman with breast cancer.

Ellen Coleman lives in Forest resident and grew up in Lynchburg. She is a single mother of 3 boys, ages 15, 13 and 4. Coleman was recently diagnosed with an invasive form of breast cancer.

A team of close friends came together to organize a Walk-A-Thon Saturday at Jefferson Forest High School in Forest.

We're told the event raised a little more than $10,000 to help Coleman pay for medical and living expenses.

The day also included live music and kids activities.
