Peaks of Otter re-opens

BEDFORD COUNTY, VA -

Chef Pascal Beaut, Regional Chef from Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is giving Peaks of Otter staff members a run down of the new menu items that will be offered.

Delaware North Companies was awarded the contract in April and the deal became final in June.

The excitement around the opening is obvious. People have been anxiously awaiting the opening and have been checking in periodically to see when the can enjoy the new amenities.

There are 12 rooms rented already with people checking in today. There are 63 rooms at the lodge. There are also new amenities in the rooms including wifi, flat screen televisions and coffee makers.

72 employees have been hired and half of them are people who worked here before the lodge closed.
