ROANOKE COUNTY, VA -

We now know the names of the people involved in the deadly crash on Route 460.

Roanoke County Police say Leon Brandau (age 69), of Salem, was driving eastbound on Route 460, while Doris Moran (age 71), of Elliston, was attempting to turn onto Route 460 from Peaceful Drive.

The front of Brandau's vehicle hit the driver side of Moran's vehicle.

Officers tell us the impact from the crash killed both Moran and her front seat passenger, Elgenna Cassell (age 73), of Salem.

EMTs took Brandau to a hospital.

Investigators found all three people had been wearing their seatbelts, and weather was not a factor.  Also, police do not believe alcohol, drugs, nor speeding was involved in the crash.
