Downtown Roanoke's Taubman Museum of Art hosted a sweet display Tuesday afternoon.
The museum teamed up with the local chapter of the American Culinary Federation to put on the demonstration. The complex and colorful pieces are known as sugar-work showpieces.
"We are all about exploring what art means and different forms of art," says Taubman events manager Paige Kauffman. "Culinary art is definitely a form of art, so we are thrilled to have him here. He is a master of his trade."
The award winning artist will spend the rest of the week traveling to other museums across the state.
