Blasting continues along Interstate 81 in Montgomery County Wednesday as crews work to repair an unstable slope in the area.
That work will take place at 10:30 a.m. near Mile Marker 124.
During that time, State Police will slow traffic to a near stop in both directions. Those slow lane closures will be in place starting at Mile Marker 128 for southbound traffic and Mile Marker 114 for northbound traffic.
The Exit 118 NB on-ramp and Exit 128 SB on-ramp will also be blocked off. They'll reopen and traffic will return to normal speed after blasting is complete. VDOT says blasting should only last for about 15 minutes.
VDOT will continue to send updates on blast days as they're scheduled.
