I have a handful of things at what they call "The Nice Price." Free! Tomorrow is International Homeless Animal Day at the Roanoke Valley SPCA. From noon until 4, just drop off one thing for an animal rescue group in the area and maybe walk out with a new member of the family. The Owl Prowl at Claytor Lake State Park is tomorrow night at 8:30. You've gotta wait until the owls are up. Learn all about one of the best nocturnal hunters on the planet, and wear some hiking shoes. Last one is Safety Day from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. tomorrow at The Virginia Museum of Transportation. It's the one-time-a-year for FREE admission to the museum, and if you have a new teen driver, this is a chance to let them try to text and drive where they're safe in a simulator. The Virginia Museum of Transportation will stay open after the event, free to the public until 5 p.m.
Enjoy the weekend, and hit me up with an event you'd like to spotlight on The Weekend Buzz.
