Those of you looking for a get-away will soon have new flight options.
Allegiant Air announced a major expansion Tuesday that will allow it to serve more U.S. airports than any other low cost carrier.
The airline is expanding to 10 new cities, including Charlottesville; Clarksburg, W.Va.; and Concord, N.C.
The emphasis is on east coast travel to Florida.
Allegiant is known for flying passengers from smaller cities to sunny destinations, often at lower base fares on non-stop flights.
Charlie Leocha with the Consumer Travel Alliance said the expansion is "good news in the sense there is more airline service at affordable prices for consumers."
With the expansion, Allegiant will now serve 99 airports across the country.
