Home Instead Senior Care Offers Support for Caregivers and Patients in Our Region

Part of why Tammy Mills works at Home Instead Senior Care is to bring attention to Alzheimer's and dementia and the challenges that come with it.

Betsy Head, director of Home Instead Senior Care, has coordinated free classes for caregivers to help provide answers.

In order to make finding support easy, Home Instead Senior Care has a new app called Alzheimer's & Other Dementias Daily Companion. The app gives caregivers advice about common situations involving patients with dementia or Alzheimer's.

The free Alzheimer's CARE: Changing Aging Through Research and Education workshop provides opportunities to family members to receive training to help them deal with the challenging behaviors that often result from Alzheimer's and other dementias.

The workshop schedule is as follows:
