Starting this weekend, fashion and couture will take over the Star City to help make wishes come true for some very deserving kids.
Roanoke Fashion Week 2013 starts Sunday, Sept. 22, and runs through Sunday, Sept. 29.
The week full of events raises money for the Children's Miracle Network.

Sunday, Sept. 22, 2-4 p.m., 202 Market - Couture Clothing by Frances Kahn, Anthony and Cleopatra, and Opera Roanoke.
Monday, Sept. 23, 6-8 p.m., Grandin Theatre - showing of the fashion documentary Bill Cunningham New York, and Street Style You-nique, You-nique Street Style: shop your closet and express yourself. Show us how you would dress for Bill!
Tuesday, Sept. 24, 6-8 p.m., Billy's Restaurant - Do you like your men rugged, rockin', on a Harley Davidson, or more like 007? We bring you men's fashion, and be sure to vote for your favorite health and wellness instructor!
Wednesday, Sept. 25, 6-8 p.m., 202 Market - we give YOU the royal treatment: hair, make-up, nails, and beauty from the inside out with the CW5 and Les Cheveux Salon & Day Spa.
Thursday, Sept. 26, 6-8 p.m., Penny Deux Lounge - Tonight we're putting on the glitz, bringing you the latest accessories Roanoke has to offer: purses, jewelry, shoes, scarves, sunglasses, and more.
Friday, Sept. 27, 5-7 p.m., Science Museum of Western Virginia - our models will be transformed into butterflies with clothing featured by our very own fashion designer Terrisa Vaughn.
Saturday, Sept. 28, 6-8 p.m., Wonderland Gallery - we unveil the Wearable Art contest.
Sunday, Sept. 29, 3-5 p.m., roof top of Center in the Square - grand finale
