If you're looking for a taste of Roanoke's best food on wheels, head to the Grandin Village this weekend.
The Village Grill is hosting the first Star City Food Truck Stop, featuring more than half a dozen food trucks and vendors from throughout the area.
Organizers are looking to get more people to try their version of fast food, while also starting what they hope is a new trend.
"If there's a lot of attendance then hopefully more trucks will come into the area, which will allow more events to happen," said event co-organizer John Park. "If we can get enough people then we can always draw other trucks from outside of Roanoke."
The event is Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. in the Village Grill parking lot.
It's free to get in.
