The former Radford University professor facing drug and child porn charges will be heading to trial.
On Monday, a judge ruled that the search of Taj Mahon-Haft's home back in December was legal, and denied a motion to suppress evidence.
Mahon-Haft's lawyer claimed the search was illegal because officers could not see anything from outside and had no reason to enter the home.
Court documents show the search turned up illegal drugs and child pornography on Mahon-Haft's computer.
Mahon-Haft's trial is expected to start Oct. 2.
