Roanoke County Police continue to investigate a death they're calling suspicious.
At around 12:15 p.m. Monday, officers responded to the 4300 block of Rutrough Road, near Explore Park, for a well-being check.
When they arrived, they found the body of 51-year-old Charles Kenneth Perdue in an unspecified location.
Few details are being released about the circumstances surrounding his death. However, Roanoke County Police confirmed Friday that Perdue was last seen Sunday drinking with friends.
Officials also said the Medical Examiner's Office has still not determined a cause of death.
Roanoke County Police say the body found Monday, Sept. 23, on Rutrough Road has been identified as 51-year-old Charles Kenneth Perdue.
The cause of death has not been determined yet. The investigation into his death continues.

When officers arrived, they found a white man dead. Investigators did not say what the man died of, only that they consider the death suspicious.
The investigation is ongoing.
