God's Pit Crew Prepares for Three-Week Build in Oklahoma
God's Pit Crew is gearing up this week to head back to Moore, Okla., to build brand new homes for two families.
Supplies and volunteers will leave Danville on Monday to start the journey out west.
The walls of both homes were actually constructed in Pittsylvania County, loaded on to two trucks, and will be built in one day.
"We're just trying get as far ahead, so many details to work out," said Randy Johnson, founder of God's Pit Crew. "When you take 60 to 70 people 1200 miles away from home and try to build two houses in three weeks, everything has got fall in place and line up."
