Former President Bill Clinton will hit the campaign trail with Democratic gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe.
The three-day campaign around the commonwealth begins next Sunday. There are a total of five stops planned, including one at Virginia Tech on Monday, Oct. 28, at 2 p.m. at Owens Hall.
This announcement comes a day after Hillary Clinton's endorsement.
McAuliffe was a top fundraiser for both Clintons, and served as chairman of the Democratic National Committee.
A spokesperson for Ken Cuccinelli's campaign said Tuesday it's not surprising that McAuliffe "needs folks like President Clinton to speak for him."
Both candidates will square off for a debate Thursday night at Virginia Tech.
