More than 200 people in Roanoke County took their first steps toward becoming healthier Thursday night.
There was a huge turnout for the Wellbeing Fair held at the Green Ridge Center that showed people the first steps they can take to toward a healthier lifestyle.
Experts in health care were set up for demonstrations, including chiropractics, massage, and group exercise classes.
Organizers say they hope to help the community get back in shape.
"So we wanted to open this event up to the community so they could learn how to take care of themselves and how to take care of their bodies," said wellness supervisor Chelsea Arner. "Just get an overall view of the local businesses we have here in Roanoke that can help them in every aspect."
The fair focused on exercise, taking proper care of your body, and nutrition, as well as tips on spiritual and mental health.
