Cavaliers Coach Says UVA-VT Trimmings "A GIven"

Posted: Updated:

Coach Mike London says that it is understood that many of the players on the Virginia Tech and Virginia rosters are either former teammates--or former rivals at the High School level, so the end of the year Commonwealth Clash isn't something they address week in and week out--because all the things surrounding this game--are "A Given." Coach London says at this point it is not about what Virginia Tech is doing, but rather what Virginia needs to do to be competitive in this game. The Cavaliers are in the midst of an eight game losing streak and the team stands at 2-9 on the year. The Hokies are 7-4 and are already bowl eligible with a game to play.
