The wintry weather blanketing the northeast is causing travel nightmares for people across the country, including here in the commonwealth.
More than a dozen flights in and out of Roanoke Regional Airport have been canceled or delayed due to the weather, leaving travelers stranded on one of the busiest days to travel before Thanksgiving.
"The issue in Roanoke is fog," said Amanda Dehaven, the communications coordinator for Roanoke Regional. "We're not having problems with rain or ice or anything like that. But there is a storm that's moving up the east coast that's impacting it as well."
