Radford's Title Defense on Track

Posted: Updated:

The Radford Bobcats, last year's Division 2 State basketball champions, look like a decent bet to repeat again this year. They return nine players from the squad, but not last year's senior leader Josh Little. Coach Rick Cormany says he likes this team, and with some hard work they should be pretty good. That's an understatement...they are currently 16-1 with a big time clash looming against a talented William Fleming squad Saturday in Salem. Radford has state titles in 2011 and 2009 and runner up finishes in 2003 and 2001.
